- Collaborative action — Team work makes the dream work, and when we collaborate instead of compete, the person being served is the real winner.
We’re here to support, not replace. Together, we can build a safer, stronger, more connected Downtown Eastside.
For Organizations
Community groups, shelters, mutual-aid teams, food programs, EWR sites, OPS, and grassroots collectives are the backbone of support in the DTES. We’re here to make your work easier. We understand that there are supplies not normally donated, funded or easily procured. That’s where we come in
We offer:
- Bulk food support for community meals and programming
- Access to rotating supplies such as hygiene kits, warm clothing, blankets, tarps, and seasonal items
- Materials for harm reduction–aligned care, including nutrition resources
- Emergency response support during weather events, extreme cold, heat, and shelter activation
- Distribution of donated goods (cups, water bottles, fabric rolls, textiles, and more, when available)
- Working together with your organization on a campaign for specific items. The more info we have the better to be able to advocate for your product needs.

For Social Workers & Frontline Staff
Whether you’re supporting one client or a hundred, we know your work moves fast and changes daily. We’ve designed a streamlined system for social workers, housing workers, shelter staff, and outreach teams.
We offer:
- Ready-to-go client kits (hygiene, winter gear, nutrition items)
- Quick-pull emergency supplies for urgent situations
- Support for case workers needing one-off items like clothing, mobility aids, or program-specific materials
- Work together with your office to find the products you need on a daily basis.
- Specialized resources for youth, seniors, and medically vulnerable clients (dependent on availability)
How to access:
Drop by during distribution hours or reach out to let us know what you need. We prioritize low-barrier, same-day support whenever possible. Send us an email. Fill out our Client Registration form.
For Individuals
No questions, no judgment — community members are always welcome. We believe in dignity-first support and meeting people where they’re at.
We offer:
- Weekly food support
- Hygiene items and toiletries
- Seasonal clothing, warm wear, and cooling supplies
- Access to recovery events, street feasts, and wellness resources
- Sign-ups for holiday hampers, giveaways, and seasonal programs
How to access:
Come by the Hub during open hours. Supplies vary based on donations, but we always do our best to make sure there’s enough to go around.
